Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on August 20, 1974 Aviano Italy American actor. Famous for her critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive individuals. Adams was lived in Castle Rock Colorado, as one of the seven kids who was her smallest. Her father was serving in U.S. service in Italy. In the late 1990s, she started professional dance and acting at Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she worked at a regional theater, where her character in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a parody documentary about beauty magazines. Her screen debut was as a bright-eyed but sweet contestant. After that she moved her home to Los Angeles in order to make a name for herself as an actor. Also, she raised Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, who was introduced to her via actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a contract with MGM to launch her film career star in the late 40s. She appeared in a range of films that became popular over the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954) which starred Martin Lewis.
